I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has worked with children and families for the past eight years. As a therapist, I have helped individuals facing life challenges by assisting them to understand their own emotional patterns and directing them towards making the right choices. Through my educational and professional experience, it has become evident that with the right tools people are able to have a better outlook on any issues that life brings. Throughout the years I have learned and utilized different therapeutic approaches and feel that people are able to reach their therapeutic goals with the appropriate clinical approach and a good therapeutic relationship. My therapeutic approach includes a holistic focus that incorporates the mind, body, and spirit. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness therapy, attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy. The treatment approach selected depends on the needs of my clients and the treatment goals to be achieved.
